In summer 2018, DuckbearLab’s first little retro point & click adventure game Escape Lala launched. Created by just a two-person team over the course of a year, Escape Lala looks to tap into the classic point-and-click adventures of the ’90s like King’s Quest, Simon the Sorcerer, The Legend of Kyrandia and more. During its 30-minute playtime, it manages to capture that classic feeling well with a hint of modern escape room games.
Although it was a released independently and had a hard time reaching it’s audience, those who did discover it enjoyed it a lot, and that has made the team spend the next year creating a sequel, titled Escape Lala 2, with a new story and much longer gameplay.
Escape Lala 2 will be released on Steam, Google Play and App Store on 18/07/2019.
